I’m guilty of being a person who skips breakfast. Who really has time to make breakfast in the morning? Even when I have the time, I can’t be bothered to do dishes afterwards.
But as I’m getting older, I’m trying to lead a more healthy lifestyle. Now I would say at least five mornings out of the week, I make myself smoothies for breakfast that are healthy, yummy, filling and most of all… easy.
- Frozen Strawberries
- 1 Banana
- A 3 seed mix – Pumpkin, sunflower & brown linseeds (Great source of fibre).
- Soya milk – Vanilla flavour
- 1 tsp. of the Organic energiser mix- Guarana, raw Cacao, Maca & Siberian ginseng (purchased at Planet Organic).
Thanks to the energiser mix, I no longer have coffee’s in the mornings.
After stealing my mother’s nurtibullet style blender, smoothies couldn’t be simpler. I use James Martin’s 250W compact blender and grinder. James Martin is an established British Chef and TV presenter (for those people who didn’t know) You can buy his blender at Amazon 😉
Keep a look out for more of my smoothie recipes.
