Glamour Beauty Festival was an event not to be missed and a Mecca for all beauty addicts. A day worth of pampering and being spoiled. You might have seen my Glamour Beauty Fest Vlog by now….and if not WHY? 🙂 Don’t despair I’ll have it linked below for you. Keep reading to find out more.
A couple of weeks ago I was kindly invited down to Glamour Magazine’s first Glamour Beauty Festival in association with Fiat on March 12 and 13 held inside the Saatchi Gallery London. Everyone who attended received a goodie bag worth over £160 click here and a seat at one of their amazing celebrity speaking seminars. I just had to get a seat to Tanya Burr’s talk who is a blogging sensation and also a make-up master class by the Pixiwoo girls.
The two day event was all about ‘us women’ and having the opportunity to get together and be spoiled. From getting your hair braided like Kim Kardashian at the OGX stand to starring in your own Glamour cover shoot, I left feeling super pampered and excited to get home to try out all my new beauty buys.
I wanted to share my pictures of the day along with the brands that really stood out to me, offering some unique beauty experiences.
OGX in collaboration with The Braid bar were giving guests this years top hair trend….BRAIDS. Ever since Kim Kardashian was snapped with two fish tail braids in her hair, it has become the biggest hair trend. Follow OGX on Instagram @OGXBeautyUK to take a look at some cool hair styles.
So let me start with Garnier who were launching their new Argan Oil Micellar cleansing water and their SkinActive Moisture Bomb day & Night cream, along with having their own oxygen machine. So guests were invited to sit down, relax and take in deep breaths.
Balance Me is brand I know of but not yet had the opportunity to try out myself. They were offering skin scanning services which help diagnose different skin concerns, along with hand and arm massages using aromatherapy inspired oil-blends. If you guys would like to get your skin checked keep an eye out on the Wholefoods twitter page to see when the next one is, as Balance Me hold regular events in Wholefoods stores.
One of my many highlights was getting my Easy on the Eyes book signed by author Lisa Potter-Dixon who is a beauty Guru at Benefit Cosmetics. Along with sampling their cosmetics range they were also giving complimentary eye brow waxing and tint.
I can’t describe how much fun and how great the day was, so be sure to watch my vlog. It will show you more how the event was. Also I’m doing a give away over on my YouTube channel where you can win a goodie bag from the event, all the details are in the clip.
