Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Cushion Foundation & Blusher Review

Lancome

For me Lancome is #MakeupGoals and I still can’t believe as a blogger I’m getting to collaborate with such an legendary beauty brand such as Lancome. The new Teint Idole Ultra Cushion Foundation & Blushers are perfectly portable and the compacts comes with a Lancome customised puff applicator. Making the Teint Idole Ultra Cushions your easy to use, quick, on-the-go make-up companion. Keep reading to find out more.

Lancome were the first Western beauty brand to release their version of a cushion foundation. The original was the Miracle Cushion Foundation that hit the UK market last year and after it’s huge popularity Lancome now have introduced the Teint Idole Ultra Cushion foundation and Cushion blusher. Lancome are again the first Western brand to release a cushion style blusher, that come in six universal shades.

The Cushion Foundation

Lancome’s Teint Idole Ultra Cushion Foundation is beautiful full coverage foundation that doesn’t look cakey. It feels so light on my skin and because it’s high coverage you only need a little bit of product which goes a long way. Unlike normal sponge cushions, Lancome’s ultra-absorbent fibre cushion has been specifically crafted to lock in high coverage textures without drying them out.

The result I’m left with is a lovely semi matte finish, my skin looks more radiant after use and I have the confidence that my foundation will last throughout the day.

Teint Idole Ultra Cushion also has SPF 50, which you all know I’m a huge advocate for high SPF’s in make-up. This will protect your skin from harmful sun rays and prevent any sun damage to the skin, I can’t express how much I love that Lancome has incorporated high SPF in their foundation range. It comes in a stunning, sleek compact means you can easily add touch ups throughout the day, although through my experience you do not need to but the large mirror does come in handy.

The formula is oil-Free and non comedogenic. Tested under dermatological control for all skin types.

Teint Idole comes in nine shades in the UK and I’m wearing colour shade 04 Beige Miel, RRP £30.00

The Cushion Blusher

I have the colour shade Splash Orange which is a vibrant coral that gives a lovely healthy flush of colour to my cheeks. The blusher compact is a sponge that has been drenched in product, you can build up the intensity of the colour you want to achieve. The formula looks wet but is very creamy to the touch and blends nicely. I use dabbing motions when applying this product, as if I was using a beauty blender.

The colour I have leaves a gorgeous dewy finish and if you like multi-purpose products you can also use this as a lip tint. Even though officially this is a cheek product, I like to use this to give a nice hint of colour to my lips.

I’m wearing colour shade 031 Splash Orange, RRP £28.00

The Packaging

When I mentioned #MakeupGoals a large part of it is due to the fabulous Lancome packaging! This not only looks ultra stylish and gorgeous but is also economically friendly. Lancome has made the foundation as a refill and the gold compact reusable, meaning there is minimal waste to the environment. Well Done Lancome!

The Teint Idole Ultra Cushion packaging compact is smaller then the original Miracle Cushion Foundation, but you are still left with a good size mirror in the lid and a sponge applicator. Both the foundation and blushers have a air lock compartment so the formulas stay fresh and no moisture is lost.

I just love how this foundation feels yet still allows for build-able coverage. My skin feels hydrated and leaves me with a radiant, semi matte finish and with a healthy glow. I highly recommend trying them for yourself.

Let me know if you would like me to write/record a comparison of L’Oreal Nude Magique and Lancome Teint Idole Ultra cushion?

Thanks for reading darlings xx
