My day 2 of London Fashion Week was actually on Monday, as I skipped the weekend shows. Keep reading to see more of my style and what I got up too.
In my previous post I forgot to mention that I only planned to attend London Fashion week on the opening day which was Friday 19th & Monday 22nd Feb. I planned all my appointments across those two days because I’ll be honest LFW can take a lot out of you. In future I would love to book a hotel room to minimise the time travelling, to freshen up and to take those cheeky naps I love so much.
Monday I planned to take #OOTD pictures around the streets of Soho. I decided to go with my signature style, I just love over the knee boots! They are a great investment and I just seem to live in them, they can make the most simplest of outfits have more of a luxe look. Then I headed 5 minutes down the road to my hair appointment at L’Oreal Professional and finally to the Vin + Omi show near Regents Park. I’ve vlogged all of this so don’t worry 😉
What I Wore
River Island jersey trench (sold out)
Turtle neck – Dorothy Perkins (similar)
Jamie Jeans – Topshop (similar)
OTK boots – Daniel Footwear
Watch – Shore Projects
Bag – Chanel
Sunglasses – Miu Miu
Have to say that these Daniel Footwear boots are one of my most comfortable OTK boots I own. The sole of the boots are rubber and give me a firm grip on the ground. I have another pair from Topshop and they are so hard to walk in as I’m always slipping on the ground. These boots are pricey but I see it as a great investment! I’ve worn these boots to death and yet they still look brand new. I love that I’m not constantly having to pull them up also. Comment below if you would like for me to give you a review on all my OTK boots and buying guidelines.
This River Island jersey trench is a firm favourite of mine and again have worn it to death, it’s actually showing tell tale signs of excessive wear but I just can’t bear to part with it. I have my eye on the new season version of this trench in a camel colour, but it’s out of stock (boo!)
A much needed break was given to me at the L’Oreal Professional hangout, where I was able to recharge my batteries literally and metaphorically. It was so lovely to be pampered and catch-up on L’Oreal’s new releases. I will have a blog post coming soon on their new Studio Pro range as it’s done wonders for my flat hair. The stylist at the hangout gave me this Ariana Grande inspired hair-do which lasted the whole day in windy London weather conditions. Like seriously it did not fall out of place and curls stayed in tacked. As I’m writing this post 2 days on my curls have fallen into a nice beachy wave and I still have unbelievable volume. #Winning 🙂
And that’s a wrap on another season of #LFW
Even though I’m kind of sad and relieved that it has ended, I’m also looking forward to September 2016 Fashion Week. I hope that next season I will have things more planned out and lots more shows to attend. Don’t forget guys to subscribe to my YouTube channel, so you know when my LFW vlog goes live.
