London Fashion Week SS17: Day One

Over the weekend I attended another season of London Fashion Week based which is based on Brewer street. This season I managaged to get myself very organised and planned my stay in a top London hotel to maximise the opportunities that were given to me. Keep reading for my outfit details.

London Fashion Week always draw in the top fashionistas and elaborate styling but I chose to go more comfortable his year. I’m not one for over the top dressing and I much prefer a classic style that really reflects my take of fashion.

Pleated skirts are very trendy right now and I’ve always been a fan of the pleat skirt trend. They are so feminine and easy to wear, a pleat skirt instantly adds a touch of glamour to any outfit.

The skirt I’m wearing is actually a dark forest green with a metallic shine, metallics being another fashion trend that is huge this A/W. I wanted the skirt to be the main focus so I paired it with a simple grey textured t-shirt and black chocker. Of course no fashion week would be complete without my Chanel boy bag! It’s so handy to keep all my valuable items inside and close to me while rushing from show to show in the streets of Soho.

I wore this outfit to the Julien Macdonald show, which I was kindly invited as a guest by Debenhams. Look out for my next post as I’ll be sharing some pictures of the beautiful SS17 collection and the celebs who were there.

Hi Laura, thank you I had such a lovely time even though it was exhausting. My Chanel looks beautiful but the chain strap kept ripping out my hair 🙁 Thanks for your comment xx
