When bareMinerals invited me to their latest event for the new Lash Domination range it was hard to resist, as it’s the one piece of make-up that I’m never without! Keep reading to find out why I’ve dubbed these as my secret weapons.
Being held at the fabulous Sky Gardens in Fenchurch street, this event gave me the opportunity to take part in sky yoga and to have a sneak peak into the Lash Domination collection with the new re-vamped volumizing mascara. With breath taking views of iconic London landmarks we were treated to a healthy breakfast before a relaxing yoga session. For me it was a great way to start to my day and wish all my mornings would begin like that.
Triple the Impact, Triple the Power
For most women mascara is a product we all cannot live without, and it’s definitely my number one desert island product. I firmly believe that there are amazing mascaras out there whatever your budget, but if you can afford to spend a little more on a mascara, then you’ll want to check out these newbies from bareMinerals.
The Lash Domination volumizing mascara has a petite precision brush and a new twisty handle which at first I thought I would find hard to use. But quite the opposite, I found the ProTwist 360 wand allowed me to have a firmer grip to the mascara wand and the mini brush grabbed my shorter lashes, adding so much volume and gave an intense black colour.
With added beauty benefits, this mascara is also powered by nourishing minerals and quinoa protein complex.
The only negative I have to mention with the mascara is that is doesn’t dry quick enough for me. An incident occurred (a few times) after applying my beautiful full lashes, I looked down into my make-up bag to grab my lipstick then looked back up to the mirror to discover that I had mascara marks just below my brows. I hate having that horrible sinking feeling, because each time I was so close to finishing my make-up…yet so far!
The Lash Domination ink liner may be slim and dainty but it packs a powerful punch of intense black colour. I was never a huge fan of felt-tipped liquid eye liners but this creates sharp thin to thick lines and glides on my eyelids so easily. You do have to give the eye liner a good shake to activate it and to make sure the tip is filled of the product but after that you are good to go.
I love how water-resistant the ink liner is, just like a tattoo liner this dries instantly and have an intense black pigmentation.
I love to create statement cat eye flicks on my eyes and the best part of these Lash Domination duos is that my feline look lasts all day to night!
After being introduced to the Lash Domination range I’ve had loads of people asking me what mascara I’m using or do I have lash extensions. Well now I can reveal my secret is the new Lash Domination mascara and liquid liner.
Lash Domination volumizing mascara RRP £19.00 and Ink Liner RRP £17.00 (available to purchase now)
