So I collaborated with Hotels.com with their #Unrooming campaign, it’s a tourism twist to the ‘Unboxing’ trend. Keep reading to see what this revolutionary review system is all about and for a chance to win £200 towards your next hotel getaway.
Hotels.com invited their customers to create a short, 30 second video clip of their hotel room booked via their website. Developing from the popular Unboxing trend Hotels.com has taken a step further into the digital age, giving a true representation of the hotel-staying process.
Once I heard about this campaign I instantly wanted to be part of it and test it for myself.

What I couldn’t fit in 30 seconds
I gave the Marriott in Maida Vale 3/5 stars because I was looking onto a very busy and noisy road, my view was also if a large block of flats. The décor I felt was a little dated also, I’ve stayed in much nicer rooms to be honest. The hotel itself was lovely, I loved the reception area and I found having underground parking a bonus! I was disappointed that the GYM and swimming pool was down the road and not actually in the hotel like I thought by looking at the website.
Watch my clip down below and have a go recording your own review. The best video will be awarded a £200 hotel voucher. Participants will then have to tweet their video to @HotelsdotcomEU with the #Unrooming hashtag as well as the full name of the featured hotel. Good Luck!
