Urban Decay XX Vice Ltd Reloaded Palette Review & Swatches

Processed with VSCO with a5 preset

So I’m definitely late to the Urban Decay XX Vice Reloaded party! I received Urban Decay’s 20th year eye-shadow palette a little later then others, so this might not be the hottest news out there but keep reading to find out my thoughts on the palette.

Urban Decay celebrated their 2oth birthday with their best 20 eye-shadows from the past two decades. With three exclusive innovations, you have a great mixture in the palette from matte, metallic shimmer to glittering.

So let me just put it out there I’ve never owned a Urban Decay palette EVER! Not because I don’t like them, just that they have always been out of my price budget. The UD XX Vice Ltd Reloaded is great if your like me and new to UD eye-shadows as this offers up the chance to play with seven of their best seller colour shades, along with three new shades, five vintage shades and five exclusives from previous palettes. The XX Vice palette really gave me the opportunity to discover and get up to speed with UD’s eye-shadow must have shades.

UD shades 1

Smog – Deep copper colour with bronze shimmer
Moonflower – Metallic rose gold

Roadstripe – Iridescent white with blue-violet shift
Twice Baked – Deep, velvety brown with gold glitter
Hot Pants – Mid-pearl Pink
Asphyxia – Shimmering Hyacinth with delicate blue
Gash – Metallic brick red

UD shade 3

Anonymous – Pale matte cream peach
Acid Rain –  Shimmering yellow-green
Mildew – Deep shimmering metallic green
Midnight Cowboy – Pink champagne shimmer

The palette is simple and chic, black with violet jewel Urban Decay logo on the outside. Due to being black it does leave traces of dirty finger marks. The side button easily allows you to open the palette and inside includes a double-sided eye shadow brush and a large mirror. I wish the colour shades inside were better arranged in perhaps light to dark order, so your not going all over the place trying to find a colour. The eye-shadows do glide on easily with some giving you a great colour pay off in one swipe, the others need a few more stokes. The new improved formula makes the colours last all day on my eyes and I find no creasing or smudging.

I’ve enjoyed using this palette, it has every colour shade I would need while I’m on the go. It’s a must have if your travelling! This palette is great to take with you and it’s all you would need, I also love that included is a large mirror and double ended brush.

The Urban Decay XX Vice Ltd Reloaded is available to purchase exclusively at Debenhams as well as urbandecay.co.uk RRP £43.
